NEW FIRE TRUCK FOR CHIPPEWA-MARTINY FIRE DEPARTMENT!

Click here for more truck information and updates Chippewa Martiny Fire Dept.

December 13, 2022: Tonight, the Chippewa-Martiny Fire Board approved a purchase of a new Pumper tanker from Spencer Manufacturing in South Haven, MI. The new truck will be similar to our current engine. It will have a 1500gpm pump, 1800-gallon tank. This is a better design to carry all of our equipment. We will continue to keep you all up to date on the progress. This will be a two-year build. This will be the new Pumper/Tanker responding out of our station in 2024! We will be heading to the factory in South Haven soon for a pre-construction meeting. Martiny Township is using American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds towards our one-half of the cost.
